Reid hated this place. She absolutely hated it. There wasn't anyone she liked here, so far. She hated demons, and just glared at them all day. There weren't many other humans and Reid didn't bother talking to them. The vampires and werewolves were new, so she stayed away from them. As for the angels, well, Reid didn't believe in them so, she didn't pay attention to those either. Most of all, Reid hated who ever put her here.
In order to get to Mr. What's-his-name's office, Reid had to walk past all the other beings' dorms. It was the longest walk she had ever taken in her life. Reid walked with light feet and was constantly looking behind her, and around every corner. She didn't trust the things here. She didn't trust anyone. Reid felt like everyone here was her enemy. They were her enemy. Reid needed to get out of here. She didn't belong here.
Reid desperately wanted to leave for one purpose, kill the son-of-a-bitch that put her here, and then go search for her father. Maybe, she could just torture the answer out of the guy...well, demon, and then kill him. Reid was positive that the demon the hired her family had something to do with her father's disappearance. Her mother and brother were probably worried sick. Reeve was probably out searching for them right now.
Letting out a silent sigh of relief, Reid reached her goal, Mr. C's office. A small smirk reached her face. Oh yes, Reid was up to something. In order to figure out a way out of here, she needed to know where here was. Her eyes told her they were on some island, tropical maybe. There were palm trees. From the blue, salty water, she assumed some southern ocean, in the southern hemisphere perhaps. The only person she could think of that would have a map, or some other useful information was Mr. C. So, Reid was going to use her skills and break into his office.
Reid looked around as she neared the door. She looked up and around. There had to be some sort of security around here. She walked up and down the hall several times. It was quiet, too quiet. This was probably the stupidest idea Reid ever decided to go through with. She couldn't see any visible security, like cameras or anything. They could be tiny, invisible to the naked eye, or very well hidden. Ah, screw it, she thought, pulling out a few bobby pins from her hair.
Being low on resources, Reid had to go back to the basics. She had to use simple bobby pins to pick the lock on the door. Reid stood next to Mr. C's office door, and pressed herself against the wall. She didn't hear anything going on in there, and when she tried the door, it was locked. Reid bent out her hairpins, and pulled a screw driver out of her pocket. How did she get it? Easy. Reid swiped from a tool box. Some guy was fixing something, and Reid just happened to walk by. So, she swiped it. Never know when you are going to need something like that. Now, was a good time to use it.
Reid glanced around to make sure no one was coming as she moved the hairpin to the right spot. After a few more seconds, the lock was open and the door slowly creaked open. Stuffing her items in her pocket, Reid slipped into the office, shutting the door behind her. She suddenly had the feeling that this really wasn't the greatest idea in the world.
