One word sprang to mind when describing Shiannon. The majority said one of two things: scary (not always the word scary, but a variation of the word) or a goth. Goth was understandable, after all, Shiannon wore short skirts, massive boots, and a lot of jewellery, mostly necklaces and bracelets. Some people didn't like her look, but Shiannon did not care much for those people. She couldn't possibly care less of the words that were supposed to sting her, burn through her skin like acid rain. Why should she? Jealousy, mostly. It was a pretty avarage day for the young adult. She started her usual routine with a swim in the sea, as gorgeously warm and a delightful blue, as ever. It hardly ever rained at Carldenburg. Like the Heavens were shining down on the island or rather, the angels and the faeries. She often wondered where the Demons, Demonesses and Fallen Angels got thier sunlight from. They were the opposite of Saint's. They were Sinners, technically, she supposed. Well they wouldn't fit in Heaven. Daily ponderings like this made her appriciate she wasn't human, at least she knew where she was going in the afterlife. To hell, but she wondered if she'd be tortured like everyone did get down there. She better not. After her swim, she gathered a towel from her dorm and wandered down to the Washing Waterfall. Whoever thought of washing outside was an idiot. All the boys tried to ogle you, which meant she had to stay in her bikini. She'd have to come out at night, at this rate. What were the costs of decency these days? At the end of that, she wrapped herself in a towel and headed back to her dorm once more. She didn't have a routine after that, aside from getting breakfast, but then she ended up in the same place: her dorm, across from Fallen Angels, Demons and Demonesses she guided, answered questions about and whatever else they needed. She couldn't deny that being a guide had it's perks. Authority. She could pick on anyone she wanted and get away with it (even though she could do that without being a guide). Her life - her new life - well, to put it simply, she loved it. Sure, she was locked up like an animal in a cage but hey, every good thing came with a price. That day after her usual morning routine, Shi was feeling too lazy to go and pick on people, or guide the New Borns around the institution, or even go across the hall and visit Ciel, a Newbie who was having trouble coming to terms with himself. And also, the newborn - Oh how she hated admitting it! - she would have liked to be more than a friend. She wouldn't admit it completely to his face. Friendship (ish, very iffy) was enough for now. No, instead, she lazed on her bed, listening to her iPod. Songs she had had before becoming who she was. She thought her hman side would've been into classical music, but she liked All American Rejects, Alien ant Farm, Blink 182, Taylor Swift, Eminem ... She'd really surprised herself. One leg hooked over the other, she listened intently, only to be interrupted by a loud rapping at the door. Without moving and assuming it was Caleb, she called out. "Go away, Caleb, I'm sleeping." It wasn't Caleb though. She was wrong. Outfit with a lot of Jewelery!!

[now your nightmare comes to life!] it had been a few months now, benjamin was getting over his change. and really, he liked it. he liked being stronge, no he loved it. it was making him feel more powerful, and man did he love power. he loved it more than money, or woman for that. benjamin started his day out with a work out. a run down the beach, a few push ups here and there. he didn't really need to work out; all his life he had stayed the same size. well not really. there was a few pounds more of muscles, but that wasn't much. after a good work out, he washed up at the washing waterfalls. it was kinda strange to him, having it outdoors. but oh well, he didn't want to stink or anything.
having breakfast was the next thing, and than walking around was after that. slowly, benjamin was growing bored. he couldn't find much to do. he was still finding new things here, but didn't bother to go to them. he was lazy, but very active all at the same time. he had to want to do something, rather than having to just do it. it was just his mood and how he was. benjamin chilled on the beach for awhile, thinking to hiself and how his life was now. "a demon.. can you beleive it?" he asked hiself, shaking his head. it was hard to beleive. one moment, he was at his home doing some work, next he finds hiself here! at times, it still felt like a dream to him, more of a nightmare. benjamin felt like an animal all caged up and no where to go. "now i know how those zoo animals feel..." he sighed and laid back on the warm sand, closing his eyes.
the waves crashing on the beach were making him sleepy, but he didn't want to take a nap. fearing he might get jumped or something. which was unlikely for him. he could hear someone coming, that or sence them. with a loud groan, benjamin stood up from the sand, dusting hiself off. "okay.. this is really boring.." he said quietly to hiself before turning around. he headed off towards the dorms, going to his but than thought twice about it. "there's nothing at my dorm, i'll just go see shiannon.."
benjamin felt like an idiot going to shiannon's dorm. she was his guide, which only made his feel more of an idiot. it was suppost to be the other way around. atlest, that's how he thought of it. benjamin wasn't real fond of having some girl order him around, or atlest show him around. it was kind of an embarrassment to him. but oh well, he was getting over it. he was starting to trust her, which never came easy with him. benjamin made it to her door and knocked on it, only getting a respone. "go away, caleb, i'm sleeping." benjamin raised his eyebrow than smirked. oh, the smirk ment something evil. he opened the door, not caring if she would yell at him or not. "if you were sleeping, you wouldn't of said anything." he said, leaning on the door frame with his arms crossed over his chest. benjamin wore dark jeans with black boots. his shirt was white, but he had a jacket over it. this is how he always dressed, pretty normal for him. at times, he added a few things. like a stud belt, right now and maybe a necklace or something. "and whose caleb?" he asked, narrowing his eyebrows giving off some kind of mean look. he could pull it off, but it only made him look hottier..
